Entebbe:
Entebbe is a very well-developed town in Central Uganda. It is located on a Lake Victoria peninsula which is approx. 37 km southwest of the Kampala (The capital of Uganda).
Entebbe is also the location of Entebbe International Airport. This is Uganda’s military airport and also the largest commercial which is best known for the dramatic rescue of 100 hostages who are kidnapped by the resistance group of the PFLP-EO and RZ (Revolutionary Cells) organizations.
Most travels and tourists only visit Entebbe when visiting one of the beaches. But they do not know that Entebbe has so much to offer. This place is one of the most naturally spectacular towns in Uganda.

The climate of Entebbe remains very pleasant throughout the year. Since this city has on real dry season, it remains a tropical rainforest climate. The driest season of Entebbe is January with rainfall of total 65 mm and the wettest season is April with a rain of total 256 mm. The hottest month is February with a 22.8° C average temperature. And the coolest month is July with 20.6° C.

How to access the place?
Entebbe has situated about 40 km from Kampala City Centre. It will take around 45 to 90 minutes to reach from Kampala. So, to reach Entebbe is very easy. You can take small minibusses from Kampala every 30 minutes.
Best time to visit:
The middle-year months have very comfortable weather with high temperatures. In this month, you will see the least rain with 0 to 1 day of rainfall per month. However, June to August is the busiest season for tourism, so accommodation and lodging may cost you more than usual.
