Accommodation: Mikumi Wildlife Camp, Mikumi National Park / Similar

Guest will be picked up from airport or your hotel to Mikumi where you will have breakfast in Chalinze with packed lunch upon arrival you will have game driving around the park till sun-set dinner and overnight at Mikumi Bush Camp or Mikumi Bandas. You will be able to Elephant, Lion, Wild dog, Zebras, Hyena, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Eland, Hartebeest, Crocodile, Lizard and other residents. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park, dinner and overnight at Mikumi Bandas inside the park.

This day guest will have breakfast and go on the morning game drive which is the best time for game viewing as most of the killings take place around this time. Our professional guide is always happy to share with you lots of hidden secrets in the Mikumi, why Mikumi shall never die, how Darwin’s theory, survival of the fittest applies in the Serengeti and much much more. Later after lunch drive to Bastian Camp for short rest and swimming in a nice swimming pool to cook your board after a long day drive in the park. Overnight at Mikumi Bastian Campsite.

This is the last day for the tour so after breakfast guest will visit Maasai village near Mikumi National Park where you will be able to learn about their life style, enjoy dances, and even buy some Maasai gifts for your family. Then drive back to Bastian Camp for breakfast and pack your staffs for the trip back to Dar es salaam.

Mikumi Wildlife Camp is located in the heart of the Mikumi National Park, and offers a convenient stopover for travelers. The camp accommodations offer en suite bathrooms and large verandas. Camp facilities include a lounge, dining area, a bar overlooking the waterhole, a sparkling swimming pool and extensive gardens. Numerous wildlife species such as the lion, elephant, buffalo and giraffe can be regularly seen in the area, and bird lovers will enjoy viewing over 400 bird species.
