Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo East National park (425.9 km)

Accommodation: Hotel Voi Safari Lodge, Tsavo East National Park / Similar
Guest will be picked up from the airport in the morning and drive to Tsavo East National Park, which is renowned for its large number of elephants and the famous “man eating” lions. We will then arrive at Voi Safari Lodge, where you will check-in and have lunch. In the afternoon you will experience another game drive in Tsavo East before returning to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Tsavo East National park

This morning guest will depart on an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, they will spend the full day in Tsavo East National park in search of its popular residents, including well known predators, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos. During the day you will enjoy a packed lunch and a visit to the Aruba Dam. This park is home to some of the largest elephant and buffalo herds in Kenya. Tsavo East boasts a rich biodiversity and is said to be one of the last remaining wildernesses. Visitors can enjoy many wonderful attractions including: River and Lugard’s Falls; the magnificent Yatta Plateau; and Mudanda Rock, a natural viewpoint which overlooks a much visited and photographed drinking hole

Voi Safari Lodge located in Tsavo East National Park on top of a rocky hill with 52 en-suite standard rooms. Voi Safari Lodge stands high above the town of Voi overlooking a vast expanse of the African Bush. It is 160km from Mombasa City. One can simply watch the herds of wild animals roam beneath or get closer to a network of access roads reaching into many corners of this 11,666 square kilometres Park.
Day 3: Tsavo East National Park to Tsavo West National Park (144.7 km)

Accommodation: Ngulia Safari Lodge, Tsavo West National Park / Similar
Guest will go on a morning game drive and get back to the lodge for breakfast, guest will depart to Tsavo East and head to Tsavo West National Park. You will check in at Ngulia Safari Lodge and can have lunch before departing in the afternoon to visit a rhino sanctuary. Tsavo West is covered in fairly thick bush but has spectacular natural scenery which includes volcanic cones, swamps, rocky outcrops and lava flows, mountains, river forest, plains, lakes, natural springs and wooded grassland. Although the game is not as easy to spot as in Tsavo East, it’s all here

Overnight: Ngulia Safari Lodge
Ngulia Safari Lodge is located in Tsavo West National Park which is home to a big host of wild animals. The lodge is perched on the Ndawe Escarpment just below Ngulia Hills, overlooking the Rhino Sanctuary surrounded by Scenic Hills. The lodge features 52 standard rooms, all offering a bath and shower and balcony with a view of the vast wilderness and floodlit water holes. Two restaurants on-site provide guests with a memorable dining experience as wildlife can be viewed while enjoying a meal.
Guests take guided expeditions to Mzima Springs (a living Oasis inhabited with fish, crocodiles and hippos), Hippo Point ( inhabited with hippos and crocodiles), Shetani Caves, Chaimu Lava flows, Kichwa Tembo and Roaring Rocks among others.
Day 4: Tsavo West National Park to Amboseli National Park (89.3 km)

This morning guest will have breakfast and travel to the Amboseli National reserve at the foot of snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Guest will arrive around lunch hour at their accommodation. Guest will have leisure time and go on an afternoon game drive before dinner. Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park area

Kibo safari camp is a luxury tented camp based in Amboseli National Park, set at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa standing at 5896m. Situated 140 kilometers south of Nairobi. Amboseli National Park is the second most popular national park in Kenya.
Kibo Safari Camp is only a 4 hours drive away from Nairobi city and with the newly built tarmac road from Emali to Loitoktok, you are sure to get here comfortably. It is 15km away from the Amboseli airstrip and a five minutes drive from the park gate.
The ideal location of the camp ensures you get breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Kibo safari camp offers complete tranquility and privacy as we have maintained the original nature feel bringing you closer to nature.
Day 6: Masai Mara area to Lake Naivasha 287.7 km

Accommodation: Camp Carnelley’s, Lake Naivasha / Similar
Guest will have a nice breakfast and pack up to depart to Lake Naivasha which is the highest of the Great Rift Valley Lakes and despite having no outlet, it is one of only two Rift Valley freshwater lakes. This beautiful lake is fringed by papyrus and acacia trees, a unique geologic landscape and supports a vast array of over 450 bird species. It serves as the main drinking hole for wildlife in the area such as zebra, eland, hippo, waterbuck, buffalo and much more. After checking in guest will go n afternoon game drive before dinner.

Carnelley’s is a tranquil campsite with beautiful bushy grounds. The monkeys swing from the trees and the hippos graze on the pier. Over the years Camp Carnelley’s has become a popular location on Lake Naivasha. It’s not just a campsite, there’s also accommodation, the Lazybones Bar and restaurant, onsite activities and activities located right beside the camp.
Day 7: Lake Naivasha to Nakuru (219.3 km)

Guest will have early breakfast and departure to lake nakuru whereby they will arrive around lunch. Nakuru is a city on the shores of western Kenya’s Lake Nakuru, within a reserve that sprawls across almost 200 square kilometres. It is the capital of Nakuru County, located in the Great Rift Valley. Ten kilometres from town lies the massive Menengai Crater. Later in the afternoon guest will go on an afternoon game drive.

Lake Bogoria is a shallow soda lake paradise known for its beautiful scenery, millions of flamingos, hot springs and geysers. . The landscape features vast grasslands, acacia-ficus woodlands and papyrus swamps. The rich blue-green algae which grow in the saline waters of Lake Bogoria attract the thousands of Lesser Flamingos.

Located 266 kilometres from Nairobi, Lake Bogoria Spa Resort is one of the only resorts in Kenya with a naturally heated pool. The Masai Mara together with Tanzania’s Serengeti form Africa’s most famous wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The image of acacia trees dotting endless grass plains epitomises Africa for many, then add a Maasai warrior and some cattle to the picture and the conversation need go no further. The undeniable highlight of the Masai Mara National Reserve is undoubtedly the annual wildebeest migration traversing the vast plains of the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at a camp with hot showers and flush toilets.

Day 10: Masai Mara area

Guest will wake up to a nice breakfast and then proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network that allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch by the hippo pool, looking out for resident hippos and crocodiles. Your dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

Day 11: Masai Mara area

Guest will wake up to a nice breakfast and after breakfast, board your scheduled light aircraft flight to the Kenyan coast, where you will be picked up by met by a representative from Alfajiri Villas. Arrive on the warm and welcoming Swahili coast of Kenya, where the friendly coastal people will take good care of you, while you choose to relax or have an active beach holiday

Located on the slopes of Oloolaimitia Hills, this is one of the first lodges to be built in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Guests are drawn to the ethnic design of this Lodge, which itself is surrounded by a landscape rich in flora, from wild olive, bitter aloe vera, croton and Mexican trees.
The Lodge has 50 round buildings , each with two rooms. Eight of the 50 cottages have interconnecting rooms. The honeymoon suite is situated at the top of the property providing an uninterrupted view. This very spacious suite has a king-size bed, a shower and a sunken bath. A spacious verandah is perfect to watch the sunset or enjoy private meals. There are 12 suites, each with a large living area, spacious bedroom with either one lking size bed or two queen-size beds, mosquito nets, en-suite bathroom with shower, coffee table with chairs and a mini-bar on request . The standard rooms equally have a choice of one king size bed or two queen size beds with mosquito nets and en-suite bathrooms with shower. Each has a verandah with two safari chairs.
Day 12: Lake Naivasha to Nairobi 94.7 km
Guest wake up and after a nice breakfast, depart to Nairobi, enjoying lunch on the route and arriving at your hotel in the evening. This will conclude your safari.
