Day 4: Seronera
This 9-day9-Day Wildebeest Migration and Big 5 Safari will take you to the Great Migration. The wildebeest gather by the thousands in the Northern Serengeti and start to Crisscross over the Mara River. A river crossing is a truly phenomenal sight; the stuff of wildlife documentaries. In the dry season month of October, vast herds of wildebeest and zebra will converge on Mara River in Tanzania’s northern Serengeti.

Day 1: Moshi to Arusha (243.9 km)

Accommodation: Ilboru Safari Lodge, Arusha / Similar
This Morning guest will be picked up Pick up from Kilimanjaro Airport, go for passport control desk for passport check, make sure your passport is stamped before you leave the desk. Is this going to be your first safari in Tanzania? Make sure you share with us what was your expectations about the country after safari. Arusha is a good spot to take a day or two off from the safari circuit as it features a temperate climate and lush surrounds. The following day the guest will drive to the National Park early in the next morning. Upon arrival guest will go on a City/Township Tour

Overnight: Ilboru Safari Lodge
Nestled on the lower slopes of the majestic Mt Meru, the Ilboru Safari Lodge is popular with mountain climbers and safari travelers in northern Tanzania. Ideally located between the northern safari circuit and Mt Kilimanjaro, the beautiful Swahili sanctuary is set on a five acre plot, tucked away beneath ancient trees on the outskirts of Arusha town. The lodge features thirty eight guest rooms, comprising of single, double, twin, triple and family rooms. Four rooms are in the main building, close to the pool and other facilities, each with a balcony overlooking the garden. The rest of the rooms are double cottages situated throughout the lushly landscaped grounds.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park (139.7 km)

Accommodation: Sangaiwe Tented Lodge, Tarangire National Park / Similar
Guest will be picked from their accommodation in Arusha at 09h00 and drive to the National park. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zone. The park is particularly known for the abundance of Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views to the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). Guest will go on an afternoon game drive before continuing to the accommodation.

Overnight: Sangaiwe Tented Lodge
Sangaiwe Tented Lodge is situated close to the Sangaiwe gate of the Tarangire National Park, offering stunning views over Lake Burunge. Accommodation consists of spacious tented rooms set on wooden platforms with decks where guests can enjoy the sunsets and the breeze. All units are equipped with baths, toilets, dressing areas, and indoor and outdoor seating. Two-bedroom family cottages are also available. The lodge serves simple meals prepared from fresh ingredients by the in-house chef. Guests have access to common areas such as the bar, dining room, lounge, large outdoor viewing area, and swimming pool. The wildlife that wanders in and out of the lodge grounds is a popular attraction, and guided nature walks are available.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park to Karatu (125.3 km)

Guest will have early breakfast and drive to Ngoro Ngoro Conservation Area. The eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, at over 19 kilometres wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo filled swamps and open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest.

Day 4: Karatu to Seronera (165.9 km)

Guest will be picked up from the airport and depart to the serengeti on arrival. The Seronera region, in the central Serengeti, is set directly on the Great Migration route, and offers excellent viewing of this incredible annual phenomenon, when countless wildebeest flood across the plains. Arriving at serengeti and guest will go on a game drive to the camp.

Day 5: Seronera

Guest will have breakfast and then go on a full day game drive to explore the serengeti Plain. The Serengeti national Park is very famous for its big five animals which are found in the area. The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania was established in 1952. It is home to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. The resident population of lion, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, and birds is also amazing to have them around you during the game drive. After the game drive clients will depart to accommodation for dinner at Tanzania Bush Camp.
To Lake Manyara National Park as they are enjoying the game drive and after lunch guest will drive onto Karatu. Lake Manyara is a beautiful little park, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants and large troops of baboons. The park is home to an amazing variety of birds and animals considering its small size. A short visit to this serene park will greatly diversify your safari experience as the lush green jungle habitat is of stark contrast to the other parks you will visit during your safari”

After breakfast you will head off to Northern Serengeti to take part in an action-packed game drive. The unforgettable sightings of this natural wonder of the world between July and November; watching the river crossings of hundreds of thousands of wildebeest as they plunge into the crocodile infested waters on their relentless journey to find food. This event is a dramatic event, featured in countless wildlife documentaries. One of Tanzania’s best kept secrets is at the fact that nearly half of the Mara River is situated in the North Serengeti. Later in the evening you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast you will travel to the central Serengeti enjoying a game drive along the way. You will arrive in central Serengeti in the afternoon and continue your game drive. Seronera is one of many world famous attractions in the Central Serengeti supporting a much greater diversity of wildlife than anywhere else in the Serengeti. That wildlife includes elephant, giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, topi, reedbuck, buffalo and baboon. This resident prey in turn attracts the highest concentration of large predators including lion, hyena, leopard and cheetah. You will also find a multitude of smaller predators that includes mongoose, jackal, serval and bat-eared fox. At the end of the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

This day guest will have breakfast and enjoy morning game drive in Serengeti National Park and then depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area with game drive where the guest can take pictures and will have lunch box on the road. Ngorongoro is a special area of which it’s a conservation area and not a National Park. The whole area is managed for both animals and local Masaai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. upon arrival guest will have dinner and overnight at your lodge.
