This 10 Day  Tanzania and Zanzibar Safari take you to Tanzania. Starting in Arusha you will spend 1 night after your international flight, next up discover the majesty of the famous Ngorongoro Crater, followed by the Serengeti National Park, and last relaxing on the beach in Zanzibar after your fabulous safari in East Africa. During your stay you will experience game drives in Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park and a crater decent in the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 1: Moshi to Arusha (243.9 km)

This Morning guest will be picked up Pick up from Kilimanjaro Airport, go for passport control desk for passport check, make sure your passport is stamped before you leave the desk. Is this going to be your first safari in Tanzania? Make sure you share with us what was your expectations about the country after safari. Arusha is a good spot to take a day or two off from the safari circuit as it features a temperate climate and lush surrounds. The following day the guest will drive to the National Park early in the next morning. Upon arrival guest will go on a City/Township Tour

Day 2: Arusha to Karatu (140.3 km)

Guest will have early breakfast and drive to Ngoro Ngoro Conservation Area. The eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, at over 19 kilometres wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo filled swamps and open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest.

Day 3: Karatu

This Morning guest will go on a full day game drive after breakfast, at The Manor situated at Ngorongoro, in the north west of Tanzania. Crossing the Rift Valley and climbing the step onto the green and rolling hills south of the Ngorongoro Crater, there lies a truly undeniable surprise and one that will be a home-away-from-home

Poised adjacent to the famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Elewana The Manor at Ngorongoro is a grand mansion that exudes old-world charm in north-west Tanzania. Day 4: Karatu to Seronera (165.9 km)

Guest will be picked up from the airport and depart to the serengeti on arrival. The Seronera region, in the central Serengeti, is set directly on the Great Migration route, and offers excellent viewing of this incredible annual phenomenon, when countless wildebeest flood across the plains. Arriving at serengeti and guest will go on a game drive to the camp.

Day 5: Seronera


Accommodation: Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp, Central Serengeti / Similar

Guest will have breakfast and then go on a full day game drive to explore the serengeti Plain. The Serengeti national Park is very famous for its big five animals which are found in the area. The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania was established in 1952. It is home to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. The resident population of lion, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, and birds is also amazing to have them around you during the game drive. After the game drive clients will depart to accommodation for dinner at Tanzania Bush Camp.

To Lake Manyara National Park as they are enjoying the game drive and after lunch guest will drive onto Karatu. Lake Manyara is a beautiful little park, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants and large troops of baboons. The park is home to an amazing variety of birds and animals considering its small size. A short visit to this serene park will greatly diversify your safari experience as the lush green jungle habitat is of stark contrast to the other parks you will visit during your safari”

Day 6: Seronera

This guest will go on a morning game drive though the Serengeti National Park. Located in South Central Serengeti – Tanzania – (within the Moru Kopjes area), Serengeti Pioneer Camp is ideally situated to offer superlative access to the annual migration and the ‘Big 5’ with sweeping views overlooking Moru Kopjes, Lake Magadi and the endless plains. Whilst at Serengeti Pioneer Camp, enjoy day long game drives, with bush picnics, sundowners, camp-fire dining and much more.

Guest will wake up to a filling breakfast at Serengeti Pioneer Camp, before being transferred to the airstrip for you charter flight to Zanzibar.
