Guest will be picked up at the airport and dropped at their accommodation in Windhoek and will be picked up by the tour guide after lunch to go on a Windhoek City tour. Situated in Central Namibia, the cosmopolitan city of Windhoek serves as the capital of the country. It is home to an international airport and a plethora of restaurants, shops, entertainment venues and accommodation options. The city is clean, safe and well-organised, with a colonial legacy that is reflected in its many German eateries and shops, and the widespread use of the German language. Guest will drive after breakfast at 09:00-09:30 and departs to Sossusvlei area. Along the way clients will stop at Rehoboth where the guide will buy snacks for 45minutes and this is an opportunity for guest to get some snacks and drinks for the road.

Guest can lunch at 12h00-13h00 along the road by a rest place. After arrival guest will have leisure time before going on a Sundowner drive to dune around 17h30 or 18h00.

Day 3 – Sossuvlei / Sesriem Area

Guest will wake up and have breakfast before going into the park for Sossuvlei Excursion which includes Dune 45, Deadvlei, Hiddenvlei, and Big Daddy. Guest will be back around lunch time and will have some leisure time for themselves at the pool.

Desert Camp is situated just 5 km from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon in the Namib Nauklauft Park. Nestled under centuries old camel thorn trees, Desert Camp offers unsurpassed views over the Desert landscapes and surrounding mountains – An absolute must for the nature lover and photographer!

The 28 affordable self-catering accommodation units are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, shaded veranda with a fitted kitchenette, barbeque, power points and an adjacent parking area. Each air-conditioned room features twin beds and a fold-out sleeper couch to accommodate 2 small children (under 12) free of charge when sharing with 2 full paying adults. Utility boxes with most utensils needed are available at reception and fresh food supplies can be ordered daily.

Facilities at the main building include a fully stocked and serviced bar with big screen television, a sparkling swimming pool and 2 communal bomas with cooking and wash up facilities which are perfect for groups travelling together.

Meals can be enjoyed at the nearby Sossusvlei Lodge restaurant and their Adventure Centre offers a range of exciting Desert activities to explore the area.

Guest will eat breakfast and depart to Swakopmund early around 09:00 along the beautiful landscape to the coastal side of Namibia. It’s about 5 hours’ drive to Swakopmund. Once clients have arrived in Walvis Bay and can get lunch then visit the Lagoons in Walvis before proceeding to Swakopmund, When Clients arrive in Swakopmund they will go for their activity (Quad biking). After the activity Other optional activities can be done like Skydiving, Sandwich habour, kayaking, desert tour.

Depending on how often you stop today, On entering the park, the first stop would be Okaukuejo where you pay your entry fee and I suggest you pop in at the local shop to purchase some drinks and snacks and most importantly, a map of Etosha which will show you all the waterholes along the way. Etosha has lions, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, springbok and elephants. This on top of many lesser and common plains herds, and abundant birds makes game viewing in Etosha.

Roy’s Rest Camp is a small part of the farm Elandslaagte. The camp was started in 1995 and was built for cattle farming and tourism as the main industries. Elandslaagte is one of the older farms in the district of Grootfontein, and has been in operation since 1930. Roy’s Camp is situated on the main road from Grootfontein to Rundu, 55 km north of Grootfontein. It is an ideal stopover from northern Namibia to Caprivi and bushman land. There are 5 standard rooms and 2 family rooms all with en suite facilities and private braai areas. The camp bungalows are of a unique rustic design. All rooms have air conditioning and mosquito nets. There are also 16 campsites with braai facilities and hot water.


Day 14: Grootfontein To Okavango River

Starting in Angola, it runs southeastward into Namibia and forms part of the Angolan/Namibian border. Day 15: Okavango River to Okavango Delta 644 km

Guests will grab a nice breakfast in the morning and then drive to Okavango Delta. Situated in the north-western corner of Botswana, the Okavango Delta is a World Heritage Site as it is the largest inland delta in the world. The magnificent Okavango River sprawls out over the dry sands of the Kalahari Desert forming this flourishing waterlogged oasis featuring countless meandering waterways and crystal-clear lagoons studded with water lilies, as well as fertile floodplains and reeded islands inhabited with abundant wildlife.

After checking in and freshening up In the Afternoon the guest will have leisure time around the lodge.

Audi Camp is situated at the edge of the Okavango Delta 12 km away from Maun, on the road toward the Moremi Game Reserve. It is located on the banks of the Thamalakane river, the southernmost tributary of the Okavango Delta. Audi Camp offers camping, tented accommodation and en suite tents. The camp has an a la carte restaurant, a bar and pool and can also cater for a wide variety of activities in and around the Okavango Delta including, cultural and community-based trips.


Day 17: Okavango Delta to Maun 65.8 km

Guests will grab early Breakfast and then take a short drive to Maun Lodge situated in Maun. Mun is set on the banks of the beautiful Thamalakane River in northern Botswana, Maun is the third largest town in this spectacularly scenic southern African country. Maun is the starting point for most expeditions into the Okavango Delta and as a result, has developed into a bustling metropolis that is considered Botswana’s tourism capital. After checking in and freshening up In the Afternoon the clients will depart for a Mokoro Excursion (for 2 hours) After this activity clients will get back and the lodge and get ready for Dinner.

Maun Lodge is situated on the banks of the Thamalakane River and on the doorstep to the famous Okavango Delta. Located only 4 km from Maun International Airport and 2.5 km from the village center and is ideally positioned for both business and holiday visitors.

Accommodation consists of 30 double rooms, 2 of which are suitable for the physically challenged, 20 twin and 4 family rooms, all air conditioned with en-suite bathrooms, extensive bouquet of satellite television, tea and coffee facilities, room and laundry services. There’s also 10 deluxe riverfront rooms and 2 Presidential suites, all with private verandas, en-suite and fully air- conditioned. For those on a limited budget, there’s 12 thatched chalets that are excellent value for money, the chalets are en-suite, fully air conditioned, have tea & coffee facilities and 16 DSTV channels.
