Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is one of the popular and most visited national parks. You can easily find gorillas in this National Park.
This is the part of a mountainous system that is shared with Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Due to the presence of protection tasks, conservation, and borders become more difficult as animals cannot be prevented from crossing borders.
This mountain system is where zoologist Dian Fossey spent much time of her life fighting for the protection and conservation of these animals. In Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, we can only find one inhabited family to visit that is Nyakagezi.
This national park is also popular for another primate which is the golden monkey. You will get to see this monkey in a large volume.
