Overview
This is the 9 day will take you to Murchison Falls. Expect to Big 5, launch trip to the bottom of the falls plus a hike to the top of the falls. From Murchison, you head to Kibale Forest National Park for chimp tracking. Queen Elizabeth National Park is the next destination where you will enjoy game drive and launch trip on the Kazinga Channel. You will thereafter go to Bwindi for the ultimate gorilla experience. With all the wildlife sighting done, go relax in Lake Bunyonyi and then exit for Entebbe Airport.

Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali city to Kampala

Accommodation: Cassia Lodge, Kampala/ Similar
Guest will be picked up at the airport and drive to Emin Pasha Hotel, Kampala which is an hour drive. Kampala is Bordering the magnificent Lake Victoria, Uganda’s capital city – Kampala – sprawl out over a series of undulating hills and despite the development, this ‘Garden City’ is known for its tree-lined avenues. This bustling city serves as the commercial hub of the country boasting a blend of African markets, modern skyscrapers, international hotels, bars, and casinos. It provides an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area. Upon arrival guest can do a City Tour: Depending on your time of your arrival.
Guest can eat Out for lunch and Dinner: Kampala is a town full of culinary wonders. Stray out from your hotel to taste some of the eclectic cuisine of the region including Kampala’s delicious Indian food.

Cassia Lodge is located on Buziga Hill, one of the highest hills of Kampala, close to Lake Victoria. The environment is cool with an astonishing view of the lake as well as the city. The lodge offers excellent international cuisine in a serene environment. In addition, there are conference facilities, a business centre, wireless internet connection, a large swimming pool and 20 luxurious rooms with satelite television, bar and balcony overlooking the lake.
Day 2: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

Accommodation: Pakuba Safari Lodge, Murchison Falls National Park / Similar
Guest will have a after breakfast at 8.00am and drive to Murchison Falls National Park via Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary where rhinos that got wiped out in the Ugandan wild are being bred before re-introduction back in the national parks. When you arrive at the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a guide and armed rangers will take you on either a walking/by vehicle safari to look for the rhinos and around 12h00 to 13h00 enjoying a bush picnic lunch in the sanctuary’s grounds. After lunch, guest will drive to Murchison Falls National Park).

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park

Accommodation: Pakuba Safari Lodge, Murchison Falls National Park / Similar
Guest will wake up early at 6.00am and go on a Morning game drive for a chance to view the magnificent daybreak from across the open savannah, birds and dotted woodland as well as reverine vegetation along the Nile. Guest will see animals like lions, buffalo, elephant, giraffes, antelope and a lot more. Guest will be back around 10-11am, to have breakfast. Guest will relax around the lodge until lunch hour and go for the boat launch to the bottom of the powerful Murchison Falls. This 3-hour boat cruise climaxes at the edge of the rift valley escarpment at which point you will get off the boat and trek to the top of the falls (wear sports shoes while on the boat for ease of trekking to the top). Having worked up a sweat, once at the top, get bathed in the misty spray that the Nile creates as it forces itself into the 7-metre cleft to create the famous Murchison Falls. Guest will Your go back to the lodge for dinner.

Pakuba Safari Lodge is located in North West of Uganda on the Eastern Bank of the Albert Nile. The tastefully furnished rooms offer comfort, style and serenity. Here you can enjoy a variety of excursions and activities; from exhilarating Safari drives to boat trips along the River Nile, ending at the foot of Murchison Falls. For the more adventurous, one can trek up to the top of the falls and marvel at the views through the mist.
Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park

Guest will have a nice breakfast Morning and track for the mountain gorillas in the jungle forest of Bwindi. Gorilla trekkers will take the most exciting and memorable activity of trekking the Mountain gorillas in the thick jungle. The time spent trekking depends on the movement of these gorillas, it’s about 2 to 8 hours. Before you start the trekking, you should expect to hike for a long distance under muddy and steep conditions before seeing the great apes in the Jungle. The gorilla trekking experience obviously rewarding as you sit, play and talk to them. To protect the gorillas and visitors, no one with communicable diseases such as diarrhoea can visit the gorillas.

Located at the edge Kibale National Park only 22 Km from Fort Portal on the Kamwenge Road is the Chimpanzee Forest Guesthouse. The guesthouse sits on well-manicured lawns, tea plantations and indigenous forest where guests can enjoy beautiful panoramic vistas of Kibale National Park, ancient crater lakes, and the Rwenzori Mountains.
The guesthouse offers accommodation in beautifully furnished self-contained cottages (Bandas) as well as a large colonial house, which was formerly home to the British commissioner in the 1950’s. Guests are able to participate in a variety of guided tours that include visiting the L.Nyabikere Crater Lake and the Mahoma Falls.
Day 5: Kibale Forest National Park to Southern Queen Elizabeth National Park

Guest will have breakfast drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is one of the most popular parks in Uganda, the Queen Elizabeth National Park lies in the western region of the country. In the northern part of the park, visitors can look forward to boating along the Kasinga Channel, which is home to the largest population of hippos in the world and an abundance of Nile crocodiles.

Day 6: Southern Queen Elizabeth National Park

This morning guest will wake up early. A little before sunrise coffee, tea and donuts will be served in the lounge before we head out for a long game drive in time to see the first rays of light. You will search for all the wildlife in the park and are likely to come across Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Waterbuck, Leopard, Uganda Kob, and many Warthogs.
A well-deserved brunch will be served back at the lodge in the late morning.
In the afternoon you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel which joins Lake George and Lake Edward.
Here, you will see a lot of hippos (more than you can possibly imagine, as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe.

Day 7: Southern Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi National Park

Guest will be picked up in Kigali and drive to Bwindi National Park. The drive to Uganda will go through Rwanda’s northern town of Ruhengeri his drive will take you approx 4-5 hours. Guest will then cross over into Uganda via Cyanika or Katuna border post. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is in southwestern Uganda, the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is said to be Africa’s oldest rainforest. It is world-renowned for its excellent gorilla-sighting opportunities. The rugged landscape features dense jungle, cascading waterfalls, sparkling mountain streams, deep valleys and steep ridges. Upon arrival guest will go on hiking

A reason that gave birth to Broadbill Forest Camp, named after the African Green Broadbill, an Albertine Rift endemic found in Ruhija, the Eastern Part of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This site offers the best birding experience for the passionate Birder whose aim is the conservation of wildlife. At Broadbill Forest camp you will get in touch with the local Albertine Rift Valley expert to get the best out of your ornithological trip to the region. This is none other than Emmy Gongo who lets guests have a chance to search for the Albertine Rift Endemics.
Day 8: Bwindi National Park to Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort , Lake Bunyonyi

Today guest will have an early breakfast and a briefing by a tour guide, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular! The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored.
Return to your lodge. Have your lunch and thereafter check out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478m) but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical — you could admire them all day.

Day 9: Lake Bunyonyi to Entebbe International Airport
This is the last day of your tour. Guest will have breakfast and drive back to Kampala with a lunch stop in Masindi. You should arrive back in Kampala in the early evening and continue to Entebbe International Airport. You are dropped off at the airport in time for you to check-in for your departure home.
