Today guest will get breakfast and drive to Zambia this unique, peanut-shaped country, once known as Northern Rhodesia, offers visitors an authentic African experience complete with adrenalin pumping adventure sports, a variety of fascinating cultural activities, and an abundance of indigenous wildlife, which finds refuge in Zambia’s vast national parks. Spend your evenings enjoying the spectacular site of the world’s largest waterfall, the Victoria Falls, while sipping on sundowners after an exhilarating day of whitewater rafting down the rapids of the mighty Zambezi River.

With its sculpted gardens and manicured lawn, the signs are all good on the way into the well-looked-after Chimwemwe Lodge. The chalets have pleasingly high thatched roofs, giving them an airy feel when it’s hot outside. It’s a little gem in this nondescript little town. The restaurant here prepares local cuisine too at reasonable prices, including game meat.

Guest will have the last breakfast prepared over the open fire and then you will get onto the motorboat back to Kiambi Lodge. You will be driven to Lusaka for your flight with ProFlight from Lusaka to Mfuwe at around midday. The pickup is arranged with Flatdogs Camp. This Morning Guest will have breakfast and go on a Game drive and will be back before lunch and in the afternoon go on a walk. Wildlife includes hippo, crocodile and over 400 species of birds, elephant and large herds of buffalo. Thornicroft’s giraffe and Cookson’s wildebeest can be spotted plus healthy populations of wild dog.

Wildlife Camp offers a much needed niche for everyone who is enthusiastic about wildlife, South Luangwa National Park and Zambia – at an affordable rate. At the camp there are rustic en-suite chalets, a secluded en-suite tented camp, a Bushcamp for overnight walking safaris and a stunning campsite, all situated on the banks of the Luangwa River. Wildlife Camp is situated on land owned by the Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia (WECSZ). The camp operates under their auspices and pays a lease to the WECSZ, which in return supports the wildlife and people of the Luangwa Valley and Zambia.

It has more species of fish than any other freshwater lake in the world, boasting over 600 species of fish in the Lake Malawi National Park alone.

Guest will have breakfast and visit a local village today near our accommodation with our guide. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and enjoy the magnificent views and sounds of Lake Malawi. The following morning, we make our way north and spend another night on the banks of Lake Malawi where you will enjoy a magnificent sunset over the lake. On this beautiful day guest will The death of this remarkable explorer revived the desire in other missionaries to come to Malawi and, after they finally finished setting up missions in various malaria-ridden areas, they constructed a malaria-free mission in the highlands of the eastern escarpment, aptly named Livingstone. This mission is still operational today and is open to visitors willing to embark on a strenuous hike in order to reach it. Because of the difficulty of this 6-8-hour trek to the mission, you should be sure to partake in it only if you feel you are truly fit enough to brave the steep slopes and boiling temperatures.

On this day guest will wake up early and drive from Mikumi to the Port of Dar es salaam where we climb aboard a local ferry that transports us to Zanzibar. Our home for the following three nights. Stone Town offers a variety of activities and is the perfect stop to enjoy the beaches. Stone Town Situated on the beautiful island of Zanzibar, Stone Town is the old city and cultural heart of the island and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town is famous for its winding alleys fringed by grand architecture, bustling bazaars, sultan’s palace, mosques, the House of Wonders, gardens and the extravagant merchants’ houses with their remarkably ornate doors. Stone Town is home to over fifty mosques, six Hindu Temples, a Catholic and an Anglican Cathedral.
