Guest will have the last breakfast prepared over the open fire and then you will get onto the motorboat back to Kiambi Lodge. You will be driven to Lusaka for your flight with ProFlight from Lusaka to Mfuwe at around midday. The pickup is arranged with Flatdogs Camp. Day 4: South Luangwa National Park

This Morning Guest will have breakfast and go on a Game drive and will be back before lunch and in the afternoon go on a walk. Wildlife includes hippo, crocodile and over 400 species of birds, elephant and large herds of buffalo. Thornicroft’s giraffe and Cookson’s wildebeest can be spotted plus healthy populations of wild dog.

Wildlife Camp offers a much needed niche for everyone who is enthusiastic about wildlife, South Luangwa National Park and Zambia – at an affordable rate. At the camp there are rustic en-suite chalets, a secluded en-suite tented camp, a Bushcamp for overnight walking safaris and a stunning campsite, all situated on the banks of the Luangwa River. Wildlife Camp is situated on land owned by the Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia (WECSZ). The camp operates under their auspices and pays a lease to the WECSZ, which in return supports the wildlife and people of the Luangwa Valley and Zambia.

Day 6: South Luangwa National Park

On this beautiful day guest will have early breakfast and go on go on game drive around lake Malawi which is 590-kilometre-long and 85 kilometre wide Lake is the third-largest lake in Africa, occupying one-fifth of Malawi’s total area. Guest will have breakfast and visit a local village today near our accommodation with our guide. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and enjoy the magnificent views and sounds of Lake Malawi. The following morning, we make our way north and spend another night on the banks of Lake Malawi where you will enjoy a magnificent sunset over the lake. Day 8: Chitimba

On this beautiful day guest will The death of this remarkable explorer revived the desire in other missionaries to come to Malawi and, after they finally finished setting up missions in various malaria-ridden areas, they constructed a malaria-free mission in the highlands of the eastern escarpment, aptly named Livingstone. This mission is still operational today and is open to visitors willing to embark on a strenuous hike in order to reach it. Because of the difficulty of this 6-8-hour trek to the mission, you should be sure to partake in it only if you feel you are truly fit enough to brave the steep slopes and boiling temperatures.

Guest will have breakfast and Depart from Malawi to Tanzania. We ascend out of the Great Rift Valley through some remarkable mountain passes, passing enormous tea plantations in the highlands before eventually arriving at our stop in Iringa.

Set in the crisp, cool altitude of Tanzania’s scenic Southern Highlands, Kisolanza Farm was originally planted with tobacco, it is a fully working farm with cattle, sheep and a range of crops. The Cape to Cairo road that weaves the length of Africa passes directly through the home, and The Old Farm House was set up to to offer an ideal stopover spot for travelers, a pause between Zanzibar and Malawi. Day 11: Mikumi National Park to Stone Town 389km

On this day guest will wake up early and drive from Mikumi to the Port of Dar es salaam where we climb aboard a local ferry that transports us to Zanzibar. Our home for the following three nights. Stone Town offers a variety of activities and is the perfect stop to enjoy the beaches. Stone Town Situated on the beautiful island of Zanzibar, Stone Town is the old city and cultural heart of the island and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town is famous for its winding alleys fringed by grand architecture, bustling bazaars, sultan’s palace, mosques, the House of Wonders, gardens and the extravagant merchants’ houses with their remarkably ornate doors. Stone Town is home to over fifty mosques, six Hindu Temples, a Catholic and an Anglican Cathedral.

Today guest will have leisure time to explore Zanzibar trades in spices and raffia and has a flourishing tourism industry. In addition to this, Zanzibar is also home to the extremely endangered species of the Red Colobus Monkey. Today guest will have breakfast and drive to Bagamoyo situated a stone’s throw away from the idyllic island of Zanzibar, on Tanzania’s beautiful coastline, the town of Bagamoyo lies within the UNESCO-listed Bagamoyo District. It was once a major trading port, the capital of German East Africa, and it served as a stopover for slave and ivory caravans who travelled from Lake Tanganyika to Zanzibar. Today it is a hub for traditional dhow building and is known for its arts, culture and fascinating history.

Day 15: Bagamoyo to Usa River 550.9km

This Morning guest will have breakfast and drive to Arusha this is a good spot to take a day or two off from the safari circuit as it features a temperate climate and lush surrounds. Arusha is located at the base of Mount Meru – on the eastern edge of the Great Rift Valley’s eastern branch. The city experiences mostly balmy weather due to its location on the hills of Mount Meru. Within close proximity to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park and Mount Kilimanjaro, Arusha contains its very own National Park, situated on Mount Meru. The main industry of this area is agriculture. Producers of huge vegetables and flowers send superb produce to Europe. Arusha has several factories including a brewery, tyre and fibreboard plant as well as a big pharmaceuticals manufacturer. For those who have purchased the optional Serengeti Excursion upgrade will be briefed on what to expect for the upcoming days.

Day 16: Usa River to Karatu 197.2km

Guest will have early breakfast and drive to Karatu Travellers heading for the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater will inevitably pass through the town of Karatu in the green hills of Tanzania’s northern highlands. Presided over by the towering Ol Deani Volcano, this small, colourful town serves as a popular overnight stop for visitors exploring the area’s many game parks. The town offers a variety of activities including browsing the bustling marketplace, sampling beer at a local brewery, visiting a traditional Iraqw homestead, or taking a guided walk through the Ngorongoro Forest in search of waterfalls and elephants caves.

Day 17: Karatu
